I have always asked - whether the bird are more important or taking their pictures at any cost is??

I have regularly come across some extremely bad birder behavior just in the name of taking a closer, clearer picture - a 'Lifer' perhaps. A picture matters more than the bird itself?

Recently, White Stork sightings were reported near Bangalore. Curious as I was, I decided to visit the area and try getting some pics.
What is your opinion? As for me, I feel very strongly about this. Can we be better than this???

A major lifer for me, the Forest Owlet was difficult but it was worth the my long journey and wait in the forests of Melghat TR. Don’t care if the light was really bad, overcast sky, the bird perched too far, really excited to watch the pair in action. #BirdsSeenIn2023 #IndiAves
